So, you’ve undoubtedly noticed the new design. I hope you like it. WordPress isn’t the easiest thing to learn to template, but Ian Stewart did a great job on this one.
There will be a few minor changes, here and there, in the coming days… but nothing TOO major. I’ve already made a few layout moves. Nothing worth mentioning; if you don’t know what the original looks like… meh.
My main goal was to maximize ease-of-use and create a much more stable environment to visit… And also to get rid of the jQuery crap that my original design had.
Sorry Erlandr; I’m not a jQuery lover yet.
The jQuery includes were through external hosts, which made load times EXTREMELY… RIDICULOUSLY… HORRIFICLY, long. I’m not even really sure WHY jQuery was required for it. All of the ‘features’ that made it neat were able to be done with CSS and very minor Java-scripting. Whatever. We’re loving this new design, right?
Regardless, I’d like feedback if there is any to give. Sound off as needed.
