Sportsbook, College Football

So, I was given ‘free’ money from Sportsbook.com because it’d been many, many months, since I last placed a bet. I get emails, regularly, for reload bonuses and other promotions they have going on, but I haven’t acted on any until recently. They sent me an offer for “$50 free” with no deposit required. I couldn’t say no. :)

Last week, the Iowa Hawkeyes rocked Penn State, for the second year in a row. The line was +305 on the Hawks; I took it for $20 and came out with my initial wager, plus $61. Additionally, I bet that the points total between the two teams would be under 40; I took this for $24.37 and came back with the initial wager, plus $22.15.

Total winnings: $83.15.
This week, I’m considering taking some LONG shot bets. Some of you are probably thinking that picking Iowa to beat Penn St. was a long shot… it wasn’t; Iowa was [way] underrated. The long shots will only happen IF the spread comes up a little more…

wa_st_vs_orIf Washington State VS Oregon comes up any more, I will be taking the spread with Washington State.

nm_vs_tx_techIf the spread on New Mexico VS Texas Tech goes above 40, I’ll be betting the spread with New Mexico.

I’m not holding my breath for these to increase, at all. I think these are a little high as it is… but it is mid-season, and weather is changing all over the US… so… these are still fair bets, especially after seeing the Match Up results (stats feed).

P.S. If you want to join Sportsbook, let me know and I’ll get you a 20% sign-up bonus.
